Vitalik Buterin was born in 1994 and is a Canadian/Russian computer programmer known as the co-founder of Bitcoin Magazine and most recently the inventor and co-creator of Ethereum. (Ethereum, is a decentralised mining network and software development platform rolled into one that facilitates the creation of new cryptocurrencies and programs that share a single blockchain.) Buterin has contributed to other open source software projects as a developer. Projects Buterin has worked on include: Kryptokit, pybitcointools, Multisig.info, and BTCkeysplit, DarkWallet, Bitcoin Python libraries, and the cryptocurrency marketplace site Egora. In August 2017, Buterin co-founded a new entity, Ethereum Russia, to improve Russia's capability to implement blockchain technology. Vitalik is one of the most influential people in the cryptocurrency movement and has spoken with many high level figures, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, about the technologies surrounding cryptocurrencies and blockchains.
Charlie Lee was born in the West African nation, Ivory Coast. Charlie's family moved from Ivory Caost to the United States when he was 13 years old. Charlie attended Lawrenceville High School from which he graduated in 1995. Like his father, Charlie attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, studying computer science. He graduated from MIT in the year 2000, with a masters in computer science. Charlie worked for a number of notable tech companies, including Guidewire Software and Google, for years after he graduated MIT. During Lee's time at Google, now Alphabet, he created Litecoin. For Litecoin, Charlie used the core Bitcoin source code and made adjustments to fix some of Bitcoin's problems, such as reducing transaction times by 75%. Charlie saw Litecoin best suited for smaller, lightweight transactions and complementary, rather than competing with Bitcoin. Lee left Google for a position at Coinbase almost 2 years after creating Litecoin. He worked at Coinbase for 4 years as Engineering Manager and also Director of Engineering. Lee left Coinbase to work on Litecoin full time in 2017. He currently oversees the development of Litecoin as the Managing Director of the Litecoin Foundation.

Alex Sunnarborg started in banking and the founder of Lawnmower, a blockchain investment startup which was eventually acquired by Coindesk. Sunnarberg worked for Coindesk as a research analyst and later joined crypto asset hedge fund Tetras Capital as a founding member.
Tony Gallippi co-founded and is the chairman of BitPay, a cryptocurrency payments startup. Gallippi is a regular speaker on the topic of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In 2013, Gallippi spoke in front of the United States Senate on the topic of bitcoin as a way to make credit card fraud less prevalent.
Ansel Lindner founded the firm Blockchain I/O for crypto and related projects and has been involved with bitcoin since 2011. Lindner hosts a podcast on markets, politics and economics called Bitcoin & Markets. Ansel often writes about crypto and blockchain technology for news publications.
Diego Gutierrez leads RSK Labs as CEO and is popular for being one of the top Latin American influences in the crypto and blockchain tech space. Gutierrez is based in Argentina and often volunteers and speaks.
Ned Scott created Smart Media Tokens, founded SteemNetwork and is the CEO and founder of SteemIT. SteemNetwork is a platform where publishers can monetize content via a blockchain based rewards setup. Scott was previously employed by Gellert Global Group as an analyst.
Wong Joon Ian covers crypto, blockchain technology and urban studies as a reporter for Quartz. Joon Ian was previously a reporter for CoinDesk and also a freelance journalist. He attended NYU and received his bachelors in journalism and philosophy with a masters of arts.
Olaoluwa Osuntokun works for Lightening Labs as their CTO. Before Lightening Labs, Osuntokun was an intern for Google as a software engineer. Olaoluwa attended University of California SB and received his masters degree in computer science.
Oscar Williams Grut covers financial technology, crypto and retail as a reporter for Business Insider UK. Williams Grut formerly was a stock market reporter for the London Evening Standard and Independent newspapers and also worked with local newspapers doing tech scene coverage.
